Dazzling Magic has just release a new DVD called Assisting the Magician, it's on how to assist a magician. They could have called it The Assistant's Handbook. It has a lot of sound advice for the traditional assistant.

It is a must have if you want your assistant's to know how to act on stage, how to come on and off, how to handle props, and lots more. It even has Brenda and Marty Hahne's Live Magic show demonstrating the principles taught on this DVD.

This is in the Illuions section because, it is where most Illusionist use assistants.

I enjoyed it very much and for $20 it is not a bad deal. It's worth the price just to see the live show!
