I'm looking for a jumbo monte to suit a specific routine.
I will be performing on stage and I would like to perform three increasingly impossible monte phases. I start by borrowing $50 which the sign. I match it with $50 also. Both notes go into an envelope. The spectator guessing where the money card is (as opposed to a routine where you just demonstrate the effect). They lose three times. I say "It wouldn't have mattered if you guessed correctly, because you can beat the game but you can't beat the con man". The envelope is opened and the money is gone. I open my wallet and there it is! I currently perform an ungaffed close up version but I would like to perform this on stage! Would a standard Jumbo 3-card Monte be the best option or are there better products/routines out there? |

Theres an effect called soft shoe monte that uses jumbo bicycle cards and is a 3 card monte and it gets very good reviews and I am about to purchase it myself

Harry Anderson used to sell a HUGE Monte routine. The cards were almost too big to hold.
The reaction is great because people can't believe you could possibly monkey around with cards so big. |

In the context of this routine I want to imply imperceptable skill rather then magic. So, a colour monte would not be appropriate but a skinner monte would.
I'd worry about SUPER BIG cards because people would assume they are special cards. |

Hey Nicholas,
Harry Andersons 3 Card Monarch is an awesome routine. I am not sure it is still available but it is well worth the effort to obtain it. It entertaining, will fool most who see it and it is relatively easy to perform. packs small, plays big! Enjoy! Tony |
