Has anyone seen an illusion called "Melt" I saw it on a website to buy. It is basically a coin vanish, It looked a lot like the Raven idea, but it sound downloadable instructions so I was curious. If anyone has it or knows what it is, could you post an opinion, or email me if you want to post more than what can be said in here: matthyzer@yahoo.com

Its not a Raven. It is a very old principle that can be found in its earliest form in T. Nelson Down's "Modern Coin Manipulation" written around 1900.

Having bought it and been happy with it for the first day, I have to say on reflection that I can't recommend it. The originality quotient is low, and the angles are pretty brutal. You'd be better off buying Now UC It, Now U Don't from Meir Yedid's website.

Let me recommend Curtis Kam's "Fists of Fury," which has Kainoa Harbottle doing a gaffless, impromptu effect that looks as good as "Melt."
Plus, there's plenty of great magic on the tape. |

I bought Melt last week. Neat idea, but its not something I will use. Some may like it, but I don't think its practical with the angles and such (on video its great).
