I think we should have a chat-room, if it is not to hard to make, so there can be group discussions and maybe even invite special guests to talk

In that case, even if I understand it may be difficult to implement, may I suggest separate chat rooms for e.g Stage, close up etc, for the same reason that the threads different forums are split up like that. (i.e a lot of "uninteresting" chatting otherwise).
