Hi to you all,
just one simple question.
is there a plan available for this illusion to build it on my own?

On Willy's site he has this picture: http://www.wkmagic.com/gallery/set05/osmosis.html . So at the very least he has been involved with Osmosis on some level. I don't know whether or not he is involved with it currently. The Osmosis pictured looks to be of the first generation, so it is possible that he no longer builds it. Anyone know the facts for sure?

Willie does build Steinmeyer's Osmosis. Your probably looking around 9-10,000 for the piece complete with rights paid. It's a VERY large, bulky prop.

Check out the book, "The Seven Basic Secrets of Illusion Design" by Eric Van Duzer here-

http://hamiltonholtinc.site.yahoo.net/sevbassecofi.html

It's a great book and the method used in Osmosis is covered in here, but used in a different illusion. I can't say enough about this book. Great for the begining illusionist.

Take care, Bry

This is a huge prop .. not really made for trouping .. unless of course, you're David Copperfield. This one is only built by William Kennedy or Bill Smith .. both excellent builders. It's mostly made of metal .. lot's of it .. so it's got some weight going on too. The size is all part of the illusion .. but as I remember, it was over twelve feet tall .. and the base is even longer than that. This one won't fit in the back of Dad's Country Squire station wagon .. with the wood grain side panels ..
