I always thought a bed made of ladys press on "nails" could be a funny visual gag before bringing out the real bed.

Great(?) minds think alike--I mentioned the idea of a bed of Lee Press On nails to Harley after a show in Baltimore a few years ago.

As to the original question;, the best thing you could do is look at how you plan to present the routine and come up with your own lines and jokes. No one else's will fit your show as well as your own.
