Me, of course. But in all seriousness, I'd say Paul Daniels. That chop cup took him 'round the world.

Paul Daniels.
I'll just have to take a gander at his work!
It's hard to pick favorites with so many wonderful performers nowdays!

Asper,

I really loved that thing Norm Nielsen did with the violin: you know the part where the violin is playing by itself. It really cracked me up! Still does!
I guess I'll have to backtrack a bit.
I used to go to Chucky Cheese a lot with the kids and they had one of those animatronic bands that played while you ate their hospital grade pizza. I loved that band. We went almost every week - not on the weekends when it was busy, Thursdays were best.
Well they weren't making any money, and as time went by, you could tell because the upkeep was nonexisent. Most of the games were out of order and the playstructure had a persistent pee odor.
Finally the band broke down.
We still went but it wasn't the same.
I used to say to the waitress as I ordered our pizza "I guess the bands on tour? When they getting back?"
She used to give me this "huh?" look as a reply...
I was really really down!
Then by chance I caught Norm on tv doing that violin bit, and it just cracked me up!
From that day I've tried to marry comedy with magic like Chucky Cheese, like Norm Neilsen!

Asper,
Sorry for being so rude; who are some of your magical influences?

Asper,

No apologies needed, I don't think that you're rude. Some of my magical influences include Del Rey, Albert Goshman, Slydini, Juan Tamariz, Jimmy Grippo, and Jonathan Townsend.
