J ack,
Birthdate is 6-19-77 And I was able to post a higher res photo here: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-8/1061368/hand.jpg It's the same photo from before, just bigger. And the subject is right handed...this is a photo of his left hand. |

If John's photo wasn't clear enough, how about the photos of Marilyn Monroe and other celebrities--where are the clear photos of their hands?
John has a good point about the reading, "cautious with decisions." That could apply to everyone--everyone is cautious about some decisions. Tony, thanks for clearing up the proof business. That's good to know that all you need is the hand. I know you're not interested in proving palmistry, but for others who are interested in determining whether it's science or mysticism, it seems like it would be fairly simple to do a test with many people, and readers only get to see their hands and find out if they are left or right handed. Only thing is, the readings would have to be less vague than "cautious with decisions." How specific can one get with palmistry? |

Two 1's This is the ideal number of ones. This pair reveals balance and understanding. These people can express themselves well and provide sympathetic understanding. They have no problem revealing their deepest feelings in an appropriate manner.
A single 6 shows a person with a strong creative ability. It also shows someone who tends to have strong feelings when it comes to love, family and/or home. Stability in life is very important. Creativity is often related to what brings this stability and usually involves some form of the arts. Two 7's-This pair reveals someone who learns from his or her mistakes. This person must see past their losses and learn through disappointments so as to not become negative and bitter. They are keen to avoid mistakes they have seen others make. two 9's This is an indication of intelligence. These people are more idealistic than most and lean towards occupations that serve to improve the lives of others. They must avoid becoming too critical of those with lesser ideals. Line of Heightened Sensitivity This person is sensitive to the words of others. They tend to give off-hand comments by others more weight or meaning than they should. This arrangement can make the person shy and in some cases create an inferiority complex. However, these people often compensate for this situation and are very good instructors because of their perceptions of others. that's what I get from the birth date. I might add that they are probably torn between building a stong safe commitment to their future life and their desire to experiment with possibilitys. So they tend to make commitments that are easily reversable but project the impresstion they are on their true course in life to others. I offer this for fun mine and yours only and the possibilty of self examination. More can be offered by including the numbers not present in the birth-date. Also just my thoughts here. And I am not a palm reader guy at all. But I would say the hand looks stressed.Possibly engaged in a current situation or course of action not really to their liking. Hope this was fun for you. Best Wishes Jim |

There is a good reason for the lines on your hand. They maximise grip and flexability.
The lines on your hand correspond to hinges if you like, sections that require folding (many millions of times) to allow the hand to perform in a variety of ways. The fingerprints are just a way of maximizing surface area and providing grip. Any claim at divination by reading these lines is bunkem and is only a method of employing cold reading.

John..
just a long shot but I'll try.. The person looks as if he is about to undertake a major event in the next year or so,one involving a long term agreement or contract, possibly involving a partner. This could possibly be a marriage . It is someone who .like to think he can decieve others , but only in a friendly sort of way.He is well educated, to degree level, possibly in Journalism and is most probably in an associated job such as TV newscasting. The fact that he is right handed infers that he would take a picture of his left hand with the camera in his right hand..and so on and so on.. Am I right ? Howard |

It is indeed a gibbon. I don't think it's technically a monkey. But I'm not an expert, so I'm not sure.
Howard...I think you think that the hand is mine. Could be.....but might not also. It could also be my Uncle Fred, or perhaps David Copperfield. I don't want to give any clues yet, save for the ones I've given. You will recognize who it is once his identity is revealed, however. |

For fun I'll take a stab at the picture: Not sure why, but I'm getting the sense that this person has some connection with music, but also something with a lot of typing associated with it... but not a secretary or office worker... maybe something in the creative writing field.
Seems to be both uniformally proficient in the business world and the artistic world... maybe swings between both and is currently indecisive as to which they belong to. Has a good sense of "self" in that they are not afraid to state their opinions, but usually are ready to back it up with facts that they have taken the time to research... could be where this typing comes in.... still not sure. I believe they are considering a move, but not to a distant place... more for proximity to work than anything else. Recently, well at least in the last six months, they were somehow caught up with someone else's problem in a big way... something that was not medical, but the other person considered it life-altering. The owner of this hand stepped in and either completely solved the problem or at least was instrumental and finding the solutions. Currently, there is some sort of feud going between a close friend and another friend and once again this individual is acting as a moderator... not judging... just making sure no one crosses the line in a bad way. The individual has a strong and large group of friends that can be counted on at any moment's notice... but there is one friend within the group that ... well, let's say would be the last to be called in a time of crisis. Presently, there seems to be some sort of money matter that is either on hold or taking its time in being resolved. I believe it will be taken care of within a month or so, but not exactly as plan and maybe not even in the most favorable of outcomes... but it won't be a disaster. I'm getting a sense that there is some family member they have been trying to reach because of a situation that has currently happened, but there still hasn't been a direct communication. There has been some big life changes in this individuals life, but even when it seemed like a bad change they were able to see the bright side of things and go on from there. I'd say they are generally a positive person, with an outgoing personality, and generally can fit in any group... from a group of physics majors to contruction workers... they always have a great story to tell and can easily be the life of the party while at the same time having the control to make sure everything is running right and all the guests are happy. That's all I'm getting now... Now I'll do John. Greg

Jimtron,
Pretty specific. The number of kids, relationships ( and affairs), career changes, illnesses, finances, etc, etc. over the person's lifetime...past, current and future. Some personality traits, too. The readings you have seen on here in this thread is not, usually, what a palmist would do. I believe the best book on the subject right now is "Revealing Hands" by Richard Webster. This book is not for the "mentalism market". It is a legitimate text on palmistry. I have just started to read "Palms Up" by Shiela Lyon and Mark Sherman. So far, it is excellent Best regards, Tony Razzano

Tony:
Thanks for the response. It sounds like it would be pretty straightforward to test this (for someone who was interested in such a thing). Get 20 or so volunteers to sit behind a screen or piece of fabric, so they can't be seen--only their hands are visible. Then, ask a palm reader could name how many kids each subject has, and how many career changes. If the reader does significantly better than chance (just guessing) that would indicate that he or she can read palms. I'll try to take a look at the books you mentioned. |

The 2nd Phalange of his little finger shows a “waist” like structure. This shows he has a problem with belonging. Intimacy is difficult for him. For him, two people in a relationship will remain two separate people. He would appear to his partner as being cold, calculating and intellectual. Intimate relationships are, and always will be, very difficult for him. I would say that he feels trapped in an unhappy relationship.
His ring finger is curving towards the middle finger. He has difficulties with identity. I would say that he has chosen areas of study and career that later proved to be a poor choice. He has changed career several times, and will continue to do so until aged 40. If he does stay in one career due to financial reasons, he will find the job unappealing. There is a slight “waisting” to his index finger shows that he was rejected by his father or his peers when he was a child. He is the black sheep. He has developed an “I don’t need you, I don’t like you, I don’t want you” attitude to the religion or culture or country or family that rejected him so long ago. He will tell this to anyone who listens. The part of his hand where the fingers join the palm is flat. This shows strong homosexual tendencies.

It's very different to no marriages or 2, 3, 4 or more marriages. But lets say that Alexander did tell you that he was currently married and will stay married. Even that will appear to be too general to you. You would then want more specifics. How long has been married? What is his partners name? How old is his partner. That's why it's impossible to convince a skeptic.
