I watched Mike do Dracula Bites the Dust, Mummy Dearest, and Forgetful Frankie. They are all great comedy routines. I missed the Ghost Silk Set, but if it's anything like the others, and probably is, it's got to be good.

For those who don't know Mike Bent, he is one extremely funny man! And so are his routines. I do have Forgetful Frankie!

This months (Oct 2005) Magic Magazine, in the David Kaye section, Mike Bent's Mummy Dearest is explained and has a good photo of it!

I just ordered a gary the goofy ghost and can't wait for it to arrive. I have seen many of Mikes products advertised and once again the graphics are great along with the story line. Again I owe you all at the Café a word of thanks for your reviews of both products and dealers help us make a qualifed and educated purchase. Thank you and thank you to mike for continuing to bring out quality products at reasonable pricing.

Had to post this cause its bugging me!
I purchased mummy dearest, its an excellent routine but after I purchased it I got my magic magazine in the mail and the entire routine I just payed for was in it, word for word! Then I also found out that the kidabra dvd's will be on sale and that's were this was featured so I am assuming it will be on there as well!
I spent a while debating between dracula bites the dust and mummy dearest, I went with mummy dearest and feel kinda like I got screwed!
anyway just had to get that off my chest!

While the routine was published in full including a picture of the Mummy Dearest artwork used to cover the Temple Screen, you are really paying for the CD-Rom with the printable art work used to decorate the Temple Screen as well as the music. I agree that the entire routine of a newly released marketed item should not have been published, espeically with a photograph of the art work used, I still think you are getting your $25.00 worth for the printable art work and music. I ordered mine even after reading the David Kaye article. But I do agree with you that the routine should not have been published in such detail.

If you already own the Chattering Teeth effect, I think you should also get Dracula Bites for $25.00, if the routine fits your style.

Just purchased from Mike his Goofy Ghost, Dracula Bites, Mummy Dearest and Sneaky Snake Wand. I am sure that I will be more than happy with all of these items.

you said artwork and music? as far as I know the routine does not come with any music and the artwork, while may not be the exact same could be found online etc.
Once again I think this is a great routine just bugged about buying it and then seeing it in the magazine!

I knew Mummy Dearest would be in MAGIC, but I wasn't aware til' I got the issue myself, how much of the routine would be in there (I thought it would be a brief mention.) No one's fault , just miscommunication.
You really are buying the art, which is not just standard clip art and is made custom for the routine, and the full routine and instructions, which are much more through that the MAGIC article.
If you like the routine and want to build it, it will take you 30 minutes -- tops, the way I provide it. If you had to make the art it would take hours and hours as it did me.
Also as clarification; The routine does not come with music. The Dracula routine has some sound effects (To augment the sound of the chattering teeth)
