How do you get a good hem on a silk?
I recently purchased a long streamer that I would like to cut up into shorter pieces. How do you make such a small hem like the ones on the silk when they come? I would guess it is an expensive machine but is it possible to get something close by hand? Derek Merdinyan |

It is an expensive machine that probably made your hem. You can do it by hand but it will not be as small.
The only thing I can tell you is practice and make it a double turned hem. That is fold it once, then fold it over and stitch it. Richard
