Hey Everyone, for a while I've been seeing on the site little references to "when I saw Dean at the barber shop" and so on, not knowing what in the sam hill everyone was talking about. I FINALLY noticed on his website that he owns a barber shop. I think this is probably the coolest thing I've ever heard.
My question is, have any of you been there? Have any cool stories? How is Dean's clipper cut compared to his Coin Matrix? I think Dean is one of the coolest magicians I've seen, and Blizzard is one of the all-time greatest magic effects. I'd like to know a little bit about this other side of the amazing Mr. Dill.

Dean is one of the coolest guys alive. He always makes you feel welcome and at home. He is one of the few guys in this world that can still fool my pants off. He is very giving and generous with his knowledge of magic.
He does own his own magic themed barber shop. Its what he does for a living. Wednesdays are the days that magicians come in to hang out. Everybody makes there way down there at some point so you never know who you are going to meet. He is just a great guy to talk to and swap stories. He always has a good one. If you are ever in town on a Wednesday, you should check it out. Miguel Rangel

I was just there today and got my hair cut. He seriously gives me the best hair cuts I've ever had. And his magic is top-notch, of course.
Dean makes everyone feel welcome. And yes, Wednesdays after lunch is the best time to check it out. You never know who you'll bump into. A few weeks ago, someone from New Jersey was in the Shoppe and mentioned that he'd seen more magicians in one day at Dean's Shoppe than he had in 10 years in New Jersey. Dean's Shoppe is truly a wonder of the magic world, and I'm proud to call Dean my friend. |

The shop is in California, no? If so, that's a little far for a trip from Oklahoma. If I'm ever out that way, though, I'm there.
I'll have to grow my hair out as an excuse to go in there, though...I don't want to just appear to be a nutty fan. I bet he gets a lot of that.

Has anyone here seen Dean perform, Sam the Bell Hop?
-Peace and blessings upon Dean's family and friends.
How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

Not that it matters to me, (being in RI) but where in California? It's a big state!

If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
