I am looking into getting a tails tuxedo for my performances. Just the jacket, as I feel very comfortable performing for kids with jeans, a T-shirt and my vans, but all I find is formal wear. I was wondering if any of you know about a place where to get a tails jacket that has some fun designs, maybe sparkling fabric or anything fancy.
Any help will greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Carlos:
I live near a city and I went and found a clothing store that sells to the younger male set. This is a store where men would shop for party style clothing and clothing that makes them be seen around town. The store had a great selection of jackets and shirts and pants and a variety of stuff that you could really custom make any type of clothing that would fit and match your own personal style. The red jacket in my avatar came from that shop called Brigade. I also have one in blue and yellow as well as a few nice tux style shirts but in different fashions of collars etc. It is a great way to find something different and unique. Hope this helps. Kyle

Gideon: That is what I have found many years back when I was looking for the same thing. The only advice I can give you is to find a type of shop like I mentioned above. Mine was in center city Philadelphia and was a gold mind when I found it.
However, they just might have a website. I am not sure as I have never looked for it. The store was called "Brigade". So many do a search under brigade clothing and see if anything comes up. They had some really nice jackets in a variety of colors and designs. Kyle

Kyle,
thanks a lot. I will keep looking, so far no luck in the internet, because everytime you search for party clothing you get go go bar's wear. |

Go to a local seamstress and have one made. You can make it unique and design it with more pockets, a topit, and other secret aspects.

Have you tried? Try contacting a theatre's costume shop. These people make a living out of making clothes that look good. Where are you from?

I have tried believe me. I am in remote location in Spain, that is why I am looking for an internet provider if possible.

The link below is the only link that I found which blazers that are enhanced with different designs and materials. They don't match my character but you might find something that you like. They do offer different materials that you can use to make your own design on page 3.
http://tellmewhereonearth.com/Web%20Page......ge_1.htm If you find anything different please pass on the link. Here are two links that have jackets with different colors such as red and yellow. http://www.tipsuniforms.com/tips/catalog/index.php?cPath=1_2 http://www.genosformalaffair.com/rental/......rlet.htm Hope this helps.

Whilst we are in this area does anyone know an internet retailer that does
a) Dress shirts with unusual colours and/or designs. b) Normal shirts with one half in one colour and the other half in a different colour. and c) A source of red and yellow tights that would fit a 220lb man? Just in case you are wondering about (c) I perform sometimes as a jester! Nigel
I knew a man who kept saying "pliers, pincers, scissors". He was speaking in tongs.
