Pizza Inn, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Mr. Jim's, HomeTown Pizza, Mama's Pizza, Corky's Pizza, The Flying Tomato, and a few others I can't recall. I'm really good with round things, coins excluded. A guy needs skills to fill in the gaps, not having Ninja skills or computer skills I've honed my Pizza skills.

Jerrine...

Birds of a feather, I guess...

I made it to District Manager of a Domino's franchise!!

I once slapped a 300 pie hour, by myself.

THAT is working the dough pal...no doubt!!

And yes, it was on Super-Bowl Sunday.

Not even close Doug...I've heard tales of 400-500 pie hours in large markets....

I'm fast, but not a record breaker.

At least not in THAT particular field...I'm working on setting up a record attempt for close to the New Year, but I'm not going public with details till plans are more concrete...

Stay tooned...

I really like "Check five."

Is making pizza in a local pizza joint different from methods used in these national chains? Enquiring minds want to know. Like how the dough is pre-prepared and stuff before you toss it up in the air behind your back on rollerblades and all that fancy stuff. Do you have to be more serious when you toss the dough up in the air if it is a publically owned company? Don't answer too fast; I may be a spy from corporate.

"Check Five" is a good one...

Once upon a time I was an IHOP Trainer...I'd worked in two different IHOP's across the country (Oregon and Texas)...I got hired to help train/and open the new IHOP we have here in Branson...

Long story, short explination: I gave notice about 4 months after we opened...Really poor upper management and the Franchise owner was lacking...

Many cool moments came from the opening training and time after we finally rolled out...

Ever been to an IHOP?

You can see the cooks, right? It's all part of the IHOP image...

Well, we can see you too....

So when we'd see something particularly tasty looking walk in, we'd yell "Taco" at full ordering voice...

"Tacos" aren't on the menu.

Prof. Piper

P.S. Just so you ladies reading know, we had female cooks on the line and they would yell "Enchilada" when a good looking guy would walk in.

I worked for Domino's Pizza - playing bass on one of their TV/Radio jingles. Remember that annoying jingle: "Domino's Pizza Delivers - One call does it all - and it's fast!"? I played bass guitar on that one. We were replaced by the Noid campaign Smile

When I worked in a grocery store back in high school, my best friend also worked there in the meat department. Now, the meat department stretched across the back of the store, so he could see down all the aisles. When he'd spot a hot babe, we had a code. Our store's assistant manager, Francis, never asked for a price check, so my friend would get on the intercom and announce "3 for 99 cents, Francis". This meant that on aisle 3, there was a girl that rated 99 out of 100. Everyone would drop their price stampers and run to look. Francis never did catch on. Smile
