Agreed- It's always a fantastic convention and a great place to meet people. I usually meet a few people each year from the Café at the MagiFest too. It's a lot of fun- Great dealers, great lectures and great shows!
You know it is good or we wouldn't be on the 75th annual!

Come on and join the fun guys!

This will be my 1st trip to the Magi Fest. I have always heard great things about this convention. I plan to enter the adult stage contest as well. Is anyone else looking to compete? The line up of acts is awesome. cant wait to get there.

Hey there Excaliber,The competion at the Magifest is great fun. I had a blast last year when I competeted.....I was very tired because of the 3 hour time difference and an early morning start but a gallon of coffee later I was ready to go. If anyone is thinking about competeting please do its a great way to show off your stuff and even get some cash out of it if you place. See everyone there soon. Brian

As one of the few priveliged who considers himself lucky enough to be on the "Kline Invite List" for over a decade, I have to admit that Steve is a gracious and providing host who makes his guests feel welcomed. (Although, there was that dreaded mini-muffin incident).

Now.....about those idiots who had hotel management break up the party last year.....they need to be moved to a hotel down the street.

Gosh, Steve when I used to have parties (I know in the dark ages) we had hot meatballs, veggies and all kind of stuff.

But they weren't too happy with us squeezing 150 people into a suite either.

Hey Kline, Michael and the Brians
I am so looking forward to seeing you guys again...actually I see Steve a lot. Maybe too much.
Wait, I want to go to the party....
No, you can't have too much of Kline!
Michael, looking forward to seeing you.
Hey Michael, if you're coming to the party, what are you bringing...? (An old camp game we all play.)
Kline knows how to host a party, that's for sure.
MagiFest is an awesome convention, one of the few I attend and look forward to.
This year should be a great one, too. 75th anniversarhy.
I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Steve,
I have to laugh. Aren't you glad I didn't suggest shrimp cocktails?

Magifest was always fun. 50 years Marshall was there as a dealer I was there for 25 years as a dealer driving through snowstorms and such. I was last there three or four years ago when I did three lectures. Have not been invited back as a dealer since. I guess I miffed someone off. I don't buy the dealer rotation bit as I see it not being applied equally across the board.

In any event, I miss the friends but get tired answering why I am not dealing after so many years of supporting it. So I just stay away as it is a little easier. Though this year's talent lineup looks pretty good. Hope it is great convention.

Well, Kline... At least we wont be able to let you heist beer for your party this time... On the other hand... We had a 3 day party at the St.Louis Jubilee this year... Open Bar and open all night! We will probably be doing it at the Detroit convention next week...
If you ever get to a point where words have no meaning, you're probably talking to a dog.
