Hello everyone,
For 14 years now I have done manipulation with poker sized cards and jumbo cards. Now I want cards even bigger, like 22 inches, just like makha tendo. Does anyone know where to buy such huge cards or any company that can make such cards? Thanks in advance!! |

The cards I make are 12" x 8". which is the same size mahka tendo uses.

I've seen Graham perform with those live, and they look awsome. Get your hands on them now if you are looking for a HUGE card fan, Grahm's is the way to go.

Try a party store! Mine were actually for party decorations.

I saw him perform a great classical act that ended with those fans.

Are the cards you all speak of bigger than readily available Jumbo decks? I'm looking for those 8x22 ruijorge mentioned. Bob Sanders mentioned his sold as party decorations and someone else recommended school teacher supply co. Are these cards pretty thick for their size?
By the way, my search through online teacher supply stores only showed the standard Jumbo Decks and that's not what I'm looking for. For those of you familiar with Tonly Clark Jumbo Fan Production sets, that's the size I'm looking for. I'd appreciate any links you all come across. Thanks! |

Randy,
My best "Party Store" decorations I've found are poster board thick, have fronts and backs (red), rounded corners, and just look like huge playing cards. And they passed the "Bob test"; they were cheap! Several different faces were available. I'm in Florida for the rest of this week and they are not here to measure. But they must be about 14" x 22". I have seen smaller ones in "dollar stores" but never bought them. (and should have!) Bob Magic By Sander |

Any party store carries these 'casino nite' gambling supplies. They usually come in a full house poker hand. We have a number of party stores in our town as well as a paper supply store that carries a large supply of party items.

Try this.
Print some on your computer. Go to an art store and by the right texture paper. Then use one of your fancy graphics editors and make a card yourself. If you are affraid of making the back, make a cluster of 6 or 7 small circles. Then copy it until you get a full back pattern. It sounds daunting at first, but playing around with it can yield excelent resuts. I have made many for close up use. I don't know however, if it will fulfill the stage requirements. Al Schneider

"What's your drug?" she asked. "Hope" he said, "The most addicting one of all."
