I need to find a number of different symbols for an effect that I am
working on. Can anyone suggest a good source for clip art that I can
use to cut and paste. I am afraid I am not much of a graphic artist.

Thanks,

Dave

Please also check out Dover clip art on CD or Dover clip art and font books. They have a book with mythological beings and monsters that I used to good effect a few years ago. Now they are very big on clip art collections on CD.

Wow! Thanks guys. This place is great.
BTW - I did try doing a Google search first,
but you guys came up with a bunch of stuff that
I didn't find. I knew you would.

Try this site. They have a decent selection. I am currently trying to assemble some for my web site. If I come accross any others I will post them here.

I too own Brother Shadow's bizarre clip-art book and it's a great resource. It would be nice if it was offered in an e-book format. I'd buy it again!

Also, just in case (it does get overlooked at times) when you google, be sure to click the tab for images! I find that a truly fine thing!

And I thought that this was "the most overlooked" secret feature of the internet ! Smile
(If your eyes can stand it, you'll get much more images if the "safe search" mode is disabled.) Smile

http://www.godecookery.com/clipart/clart.htm has lots of downloads. Lots of mouse-clicking, though. If you know layout on a computer, you put together a pretty mysterious grimoire prop. I also have Bro Shadow's Arcane clip-art and I ended up scanning some of it in Photoshop, changing the black text to a dark brown/red and printing on parchament.
