I think that Randy Wakeman and possibly Jon Racherbaumer would have more info on this one. When last I heard, Randy was in discussion with Muriel about reprinting some items. That was a while ago. Don't know exactly where that got to! Randy ????
Cheers! ![]()

Actually Lee Freed has the rights to all of the Magazines, not Jon nor Randy. He was planning on reprinting them, but his busy schedule does not allow him to. I asked him a couple of years ago when he planned to reprint them, and he said "no time soon".
Look on ebay. Sometimes you might get lucky and find them. Trini

I am always open to sharing more of magic's literature with the magic community, but there is something to be said about reprints in that it may devalue one's investments in some limited edition publications.
Of course it's easy for me to say as I own signed original copies of Marlo's Magazines. |

Lee Freed, a magician from New Orleans, was a Marlo student at one time. He owns the rights to the Magazines. I am not here to speak for Lee as far as when and how is reprints the Mags. As far as Randy, yes he did reprint vols. 1 and 2, but that was it. There was a discussion between Randy and Lee a while back. The matter of the discussion is not important only that things were worked out.

Investments? Wow I thought the magic community was about helping each other grow and flourish (not as in fanning) I am sure that your "investments" will stay intact but I really believe that with the way that Ed Marlo shared with the magic community that he would rather have his knowledge shared than have it horded and made a profit of. I really take offense to this. If you have autographed copies well whoop dee do but I would rather share with the magic community than keep something for myself. ESPECIALLY if it is not something that I came up with on my own. Do what you will with your precious signed copies but knowledge should be shared, not kept locked away. Just my 2¢

I'm sorry, I should have agreed with the fact that I have signed originals ONLY!
The fact that Ed's material is "autographed" is not just a "Look what I have and you don't!" and "Whoop dee do!" thing. If you had a signed copy it was numbered also. And all of Ed's publications were pretty much limited editions. If someone were to make an unauthorized reproduction, of any of Ed's material, they would most always leave off the authentication page (with the signature and copy number) thereby tipping the purchaser that they were in reciept of a copy and not an original. A personalized copy from Ed Marlo was a thing to be cherished. Yes, I said cherished! FWIW Cheers! ![]()

Oh I wholeheartedly agree that some things should be cherished but there is a difference between cherish and "devalue my investment". And maybe I'm over-reacting but either way the original thread asked whether Marlo's magazines would be reprinted and I would like to know also.
