Before I head out to work today, I want to say something about Chance and his product, "Wacky Weasel".
Yes, it's a prop, and I'm happy as can be "lugging" it around! Chance, I wanted to thank you for making such a great prop. I've done well over 100 shows with it so far, and this thing is rugged, dependable and... People never fail to complement me on it. Kids and teachers love the little guy! Children come up and go "is the weasel real?". You, who are reading this, may say "wow, is this guy kissing up!" Nope, not at all, I never kiss up. Just givin' my dues! Thanks, Chance! Chris |

Do you perform other Wacky Wolf's magic in your act?

I second the Wacky Weasel. This is a quality prop that never fails to entertain. Kids and adults love the presentation and it is always a winner.
To itsmagic: I also have other Wolf props and they are just as reliable and entertaining. To date, I have purchased... The Wacky Funhouse The ABC Gumball Recombobulator Blow Yer Stack The Chicken Sword Jumbo Ballon Wand The Outhouse Bill In Ice Complimentary Quality PaddleCraft It's hard to choose a favorite. The Outhouse is a hillarious entertaining routine. The Chicken Sword is an audience killer. The ABC is a multi-phase routine that I can always count on. The Jumbo Balloon Wand is a great visual effect with lots of comedy byplay. Blow Yer Stack has such a surprise ending, no one sees it coming. The Funhouse is in every show and I am currently using it to bring Rocky into the act. Bill in Ice has people asking me after the show (and weeks later).."How did you do that"? The PaddleCraft is no doubt the best paddle effect I own and I look forward to getting more. All in all, you cannot go wrong with Wolfs Products. Chance puts his heart and soul into each product he puts out. No shortcuts, cheap materials, or substandard workmanship. All my props are an investment that will pay back over and over again. I remember seeing his products several years ago while surfing the net and drooled over each one. I proudly display each in my magic room and I love showing them at each gig. Anytime anyone enters my magic room, they are immediately drawn to any one of these props. They are not just pleasant to the eyes, they are functional, reliable and a joy to own and demonstate. Thanks Chance for all you do. |

I own the chicken sword and it is the closer to my family show and also kills at adult shows. I was already doing a limited routine with a rubber chicken so this was a natural for me.

I agree that you can't go wrong with Chance's products. I've been using the chicken sword, gumball recombobulator, and funhouse for about a year now and they are great props. Keep up the good work, Chance!

Jees! You guys almost have me talked into the chicken sword! I've been eyeing this one for quite some time, too.
I don't have any of Chance's other items, wish I did! Even though I do magic for a living, I'm on a budget like a lot of people, so I have to wait for a bit until next season's rehearsal's for an "excuse" to purchase another item.... the funhouse sounds great, too, from what I've heard and seen on his website! The chicken sword is great. It was half of my mortgage payment so I to had to wait untill I could squeeze the cash out for it. I have never regretted the purchase though. I am part-time looking to make the jump to full time. Pete H. |

I just received the Funhouse last night. I was amazed at how well built it was (it's like a cartoon come to life). This is not a "prop" - it's a collectable. We've all ordered items from magic dealers in the past and often was disappointed, but this is one time when what I received far surpassed my expectations. Kudos to Chance Wolf!
May the magic be with you!

The Wolf Funhouse is a truly amazing prop. I modify my poppers by removing the disc and placing some loose confetti within the coils. I replace the cap and use as normal. The fluttering confetti really adds to the effect. Currently I use my Funhouse to bring Rocky (Spring animal)into the act.

Muzicman - If you remove the disc on the poppers, doesn't that activate the popper itself? (Excuse my ignorance on how a popper works!)
May the magic be with you!

It's ok, I bought 2 gross of these things and disected a few of them to see what made them "Tick". The actual explosion is caused by mixing what appears to be 2 chemicals. I say this because I found no powder. The string has a chemical on it and the paper that is wrapped around it also has a chemical. When they meet. POW!
You manually make them meet by pulling the string. You can remove the entire guts of a popper without it going off. There is a paper disc that holds the contents/coils in place and also creates some back pressure so it will launch the coils out. You can remove the first disc, then the coils, then there is a second paper disc. The 2nd paper disc puts even pressure on the coils from the exploding "string". I have experimented (ALOT) with these things. 20 GROSS cost me $43. I have replaced the coils with Mylar confetti and flash cotton. OHHH BOY! I'm thinking about marketing some of these "modified poppers". Safety first, entertainment second. |

I'm pretty sure it's not caused by 2 chemicals meeting but by one substance + force/rapid exposure to air. You're right about the lids of course, they just hold the streamers in place.

I cut into this string Where the apaper wraps around it) with a pair of scissors and it exploded. The next one a carefully unrolled the paper that was wrapped around the string to see what was in there. There was nothing I could see. I expected powder, like a cap, but I was wrong. It was just a string wrapped with paper. I tried to get both the string and this pealed paper to ignite separately and couldn't do it. I had to put them together so that is where I came up with the 2 cheical theory. In any regards, the poppers can be modified easily and (so far) safely. Flash cotton can be ignited if both discs are removed and exposed directly to the string.
