What kinda coins are you guys using? I just tried it with Kennedy's and had no luck. I got about 1.5 revolutions with my Ike's though. It was wicked fun.

This is interesting. Life imitates art.
Many moons ago when the P.M.C.M. first came out in one of those publications Paul Harris did with Chuck Martinez, many of us sweated over this infuriating move.
One day Harris came into the magic shop Martinez owned in San Diego. I was there and asked him, "Just how do you get this @(*&^!!!(*?< thing to work?"
He winked at me and said, "Don't hurt yourself. It's just a myth."
I honestly believe when Harris first published this, it was nothing more than a gag. But since then it has taken on a life of its own and I'm told some people have actually gotten it to work.
Has anyone actually gotten this to work with coins, real non-gaffed coins? I can see how poker chips would be easier, but I've tried every coin in my collection. Two revolutions is my record.

Just before writing this post I got about 4 seconds of spin...and ive gotten much more in the past...and that's with 3 ungaffed morgan dollars...i get them in position and slightly tilt my hand to the right (using my left hand)...its very possible to do, but its a knacky little stunt

Sigh.
Looks like I have to try learning this "infuriating move" again.

I've gotten it to work finally.. haha.

I can get on average about 2 revolutions.. I've had up to 10 so far.

I use canadian 2 dollar coins =D

I think the way this works is the minimal friction created by the two coins holding the third allow it to slowly spin its way to the edge of the coins, upon which the whole thing collapses =)
*past the point of no return~~

I gave up, it's too frustrating. I'm tempted to build some gimmicked coins however...
