Been a while since I came across this on some dealer's site and now unable to find one. Someone manufactures a Card through Window with a wood framed window resting on a wood base for stage. Effect is the same with selected card peeled from other side of glass.
Any direction here? Better yet, anyone have one they can review? My search on the Café brought up every version of CTW including Angel's card thru bus window all of which I'm not interested in. |

I've been looking for a stand like this for a while as well for my CTW effect, but I probably want plexi-glass instead for extra durability in transport. At the end of the day, I'll probably just build one and have the plexi-glass slide in from the top. My only concern is that a free-standing window really looks gimmicky.

Having audience member tap on glass to verify it's solid much like any effect using a sheet of glass which is knocked on to prove solid. I wonder if the one I saw allows for the spectator to reach behind the window and peel off themselves. Sure would be nice! I just can't remember who's site I saw it on. The frame and stand had a nice natural wood finish. If someone doesn't post with an answer I'll return with a link when I find it. |

I always thought it would be better to perform one of those basic door productions using a black curtain and a screen door. Then do the CTW effect using the window from the screen door. At least then, there's a reason for the prop to be on stage. Just a thought.

Is this what you are looking for? http://www.hocus-pocus.com/magicshop/ quite expensive though. (You have to search for "Card Through Window" to find it, 2nd one down by Sean Bogunia)

Ah that's the one! You know I initially thought it was a Bogunia creation and went to his site! This is not featured there. He instead has a "windomation" version without the window on wheels for some $350.00 so my other searches got me nowhere.
Thanks for the help David. Now I wonder what everyone else thinks about it. |
