I have been doing card magic for about 10months an was wondering if the the cardician & legend dvd's would be something that I would find entertain & enlightening or just frustrating at this point an make put the cards down. lol

The cardician is a great book. I haven't seen the DVD, but if it is anything like the book, it would be GREAT!
You have to give it away to keep it.

Marlo's stuff is for intermediate to advanced students. You should have the basics down before tackling his methods. But OTOH, viewing Marlo on DVD will show you a master at work and how magic with cards should look like. It can be disheartening but it will inspire you to go that extra mile. Marlo is a legend and considered "one of a kind" who never was satisfied with one method of performing any effect he laid his eyes on. He always was working on new methods that accomplished the same task and always added "that Marlo touch". Do your self a favor, get some DVDs and watch a master at work and practice those basics before tackling his methods. Good Luck and have fun!

Marlo has such big hands and hard material to handle. I'd recommend something like Bro Hamman, M. Ammar and Oz Pealman becouse they have very effective and slightly easier stuff.
