I think that may be the same principle as the hamburger trick-youtube.com. On the right side of that site it has a lot of clips of him
I know how he did the first coin through glass but how in the world did he take the salt shaker through!?!? Maybe it was the penetration frame principle. |

I believe this thread is to appreciate the man. Not try to dissect his methods or what we believe they are.

There is no doubt about it, he's performances are amazing, if he ever did make a instructional DVD I'd be pressing the "order now" button in lightning speeds..
Look forward to what he's got on the way.. -e-
...As long as i`m not a world-champion at anything, the great reactions of doin` magic will do just fine.....

I can not believe this thread has come to this. Thank God he is not famous in the States because then every magicain would start some thread about something he did and how they know how it is done and how TV orientated it is and how he does nothing for magic. Oh sorry you forgot. Let me refresh your minds. David Blaine and soon to be Chris Angel. If 1% of the magicians on the Café can truely say they do original stuff then I will swallow every word in fact I will eat my computer. You are all copying Tarbell to Roth to McBride to Bobo to whomever. Nothing you do is original.
It is all been done before for 99% of magicians. Let us be, I am proudly one of the 99% who has never invented anything substantial and I will probably never invent anthing "COOL" that you can sell on penguin or Elusionist but so what. I can only imagine the posts to follow this one. every "COOL" magician who can not live with the fact that they are not even close to Cyril and never will be. The guy is a FISm award winner so maybe you should get your acts together and stop knocking other magicians and start competing against other magicians and see if you can win something without blaming the judges and then tell me what you have is truely original. Or become a Ortiz or Roth or whomever. Until then I am grateful for the guys who make magic possible. The little Chopstick effect has made me very happy in fact I do a whole routine now that is based on Cyril's routine and if he wishes to sue me then so be it but in the meantine I think he is much more busy inventing things the rest of the hipocrats can copy and then tell everyone else not to. Sorry to the true ones out there. |

Lol sorry!
I was just seeing what you thought about it. Is there anything wrong with trying to figure out how a trick is done? |

Keep your thoughts about how others do things to yourself... unless one day you won't mind when others come on here to expose your effects. Greg

I apologize to everybody for trying to expose it. I was wrong and I understand that now.

Does anyone know the name of the trick where he is leaning far over, nearly parallel to the ground, when he is the old man. I've seen it around but I forgot what it was called. can anybody help?
Keep staring, maybe I'll do a trick.

It's called "LEAN" by Doug Malloy and I believ you could not do this trick everywhere. You must do this on stage which have been prepared.

The bit goes way back to vaudville. Would you belive Michael Jackson has a patent on one method of doing this bit and used it in concert some time ago?
