Hi,
Does anyone know of adult magic classes in the Providence or Boston areas? (Saturday classes would be best). There are just somethings that you learn a lot faster and better with a realy live person. Thanks, Dave |

Hi Dave,
I posted this earlier for someone else in your area. Hope you find it useful. Contact local magic shops. They tend to sponsor local lectures from traveling professionals that you could attend. They also know others in your area that you can meet with to learn from. Contact Hank Lee's Magic Factory, 112 South St., Boston, MA 02111-2847, (p)(617) 482-8749. This is probably the largest magic company in the area. Check with local magic clubs and attend their meetings. Clubs are always looking for new members. Check the SAM (Society of American Magicians) club in Boston. The SAM Regional Vice President for the New England (CT, MA, RI, ME, NH, VT) states can give you local contact info. Her name is Marlene Clark and her email is afuntime@comcast.net. There is also a local IBM (International Brotherhood of Magicians) Ring (or club) in Boston. They meet on the Last Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Magic Art Studio, 137 Spring Street, Watertown, MA. You can contact Debbie O'Carroll, Phone: 978-462-9954 or Email: harpwand@seacoast.com for additional information. If you really want to learn magic, Boston is a fantastic place to do so with a ton of local contacts who would be more than happy to help. Best of luck. |
