This is something really old that a moroccan taught me once...hit me with up with ur comments...and please be decent enough to mention my name if you wanna add it to a book...
based on a TRUE story! I was hanging around in my friend's shop, when a moroccan "saher" meaning magician entered...he looked me straight in the eyes and said : you look very worried my brother, something from the past is still haunting you and either you can confess or let me bare the pain... moroccan are known to wander around the middle east, digging for gold, specially in the lebanese mountains...and they are known to dupe laymen with trickery n "sorcery" as laymen say.... I smiled and told him to proceed....he asked for a cup of water, and a hankerchief....all I found was some kleenex tissue....he asked me to take a sip while thinking of the my worries....took a sip, he asked me to place to place the cup on the table as he covered it with the tissue.... looking me in the eyes he asked me to clear my mind, and repeat some phrases after him.....i complied...after finishing he asked me to remove the tissue...the water was all muddy....he dipped his fingers removing a small black pouch tied with a string...opened it, inside of it was a piece of paper wrapped around a bone with scribbles on it.... to cut things short (u still awake guys?) he went on about my sins/worries being transported to the water and materialized etc etc etc.... we hit up a conversation, after he asked for money, the devil in me showed him a thing...he taught me what he did in exchange of that little creature well hope you enjoy it! n hit me up!

Wow pkg...the morrocan did teach you the method.
here in my country we have something similar like that called "bolo bolo" it is used by witch doctor or fake doctor? for healing someone sick... he would blow the water then it would become muddy... thus the sickness was transfer to the water... |

I DID enjoy that pkg. Many thanks for sharing.
In the UK, we used to have 'Sinne Eaters'. Up to the 18th Century, they would, for a smallish fee, hold loaves over coffins to absorb the sins of the deceased into the bread. They would then eat the bread (and, consequently, the sins). John Aubrey writes of them in 'Remaines of Gentilisme and Judaisme'. Nowadays, we do our own eating to assuage our guilt... Shameless plug, but there's a (very different) story/effect by the name of 'Sinne Eater' to be found in the 'Garden of the Strange'. Regards, Caleb Strange.

Sinnead : yes he did, I asked him how did he do that, he answered with "allah" (god)'s help...cupped my hands, and asked him if it's not with the help of one of these "creatures" hooked him up and we exchanged!
T-Ray : yup the paper, bone where inside the pouch IN the glass Caleb : thank you! I am kinda familiar with the bread ritual, saw a movie on tv (heath ledger-spelling?) as the sin eater, saw a post on another forum requesting something similar to that, therefore decided to share my version of it...places big and it's one of these strong tricks that hit some people right in the heart!

Talk about going overboard ! People actually fall for that ? I mean, the muddy water is cool; but he should have stopped right there.
Having a drawstring pouch materialize in the water with a paper-wrapped bone inside it though, is just ridiculously fantastic. I would just have to outright laugh in the guy's face. Even the bone itself would've been okay maybe, or some nasty chunks of something or other, but a drawstring bag ?? Oh c'mon !! and this guy does this regularly, scamming money from people, right ? So he's basically a predator of sorts, I take it. I'd have made creature appear not in my hands, but .. how can I say this .. from a certain convenience/opening in my lower garment, and said, "can you drink the sin out of this ?!?" lol That would've gotten an interesting reaction, I'm sure ! Hey, come to think of it, his routine doesn't even make sense, really - he had YOU drink from the cup, and that turned the water into .. whatever the heck it was supposed to be.. that doesn't sound right, it should be something to draw the sin from you, but your sipping from the water seems backwards to me. Maybe it's just me, but I think it would play better if he had you wash your hands in it, or something.. or spit in it even, then cover it up. You should be leaving something behind in the water, not taking the water.. or better still: sip the water, and spit it back in the cup, and then cover it while it's still clear. Now that would make sense. In any case, neat story as usual, pkg, thanks.

LMAO at the creature!
mystician, around here it is beleived that the spirits; good or evil; travel through water, and bad luck can be passed if you share the same cup/plate/fork whatever, so just by drinking the water you already "contaminated" the rest of it... and yes people do fall for that unfortunately! (along with the cut and restored rope, knot off the rope...) they would do anything to just lure their "victims"

But sometimes the students can look farer than their mentors - even if they are just dwarves, but standing on the shoulders of giants. This is how the art progresses.
