My father did the first coin trick I ever saw. He changed a nickel into a penny with a wooden Japanese trick which Thayer called the Mystic Coin Slide. What you have to guess is what was the first trick that I ever bought for myself. Here's a hint: It did not involve a coin.
...The first Café member to identify this trick will receive 5 solid silver dollar size Chinese coins AND a larger similar Chinese coin measuring 45mm in diameter. Good Luck |

Not a bad guess. It turns out my Dad actually made that for me. Keep on guessing.

I have no clue, but looking at the discription and what evolve said, I would think that it is the Buddha Money Mystery too. I think it is cool that you have these contests, how many have you had already, I will be looking for your next one and hopefully I will know what you are talking about! Anyway, good luck evolve!

Ok, so its in the "show me the money" section, but it doesn't have to do with a coin, so it must have been with a bill, unless the reason it is in this forum is because the PRIZE are coins. Hmmm, still thinking...

My Dad made a lot of my eary tricks. He actually made a set of 8 inch linking rings out of Titanium. They were very light! But that was not the first trick I bought myself.

The Svengali Deck or maybe a Stripper Pack. Mine was Nickels to Dimes, the Imp Bottle and the Paddle stick. Got them in a little set together.
