Does anyone regularly perfom Max Maven's Destiny? What kind of spectator response do you receive?

I'm a big fan of Maven's work... but... I guess I've fallen behind. I'm not sure what "Destiny" is. Can anybody tell me the effect?

I find it myself quite entertaining. A good, easy-to-do impromptu example of card mentalism.
Nice little effect. |

Max did it in NYC a while ago; in his hands it was a 15 minute piece of entertaining theater culminating in the extraordinary revelation of destinations people had gone to, or fantasized they had gone to.
Be aware that the descriptions in Max's books are just bare bones outlines. It's up to you to stir in the imagination part . . . Not that anyone meant it that way, but if audiences perceive this as just a piece of card trickery, then the performer has missed the boat indeed! Jack Shalom

Hi Jack!
I think the effect where Max reveals the destinations is called "Desire." "Destiny" is a card trick. Bennett Brooklyz In Da House! |

Destiny appears to be the forerunner of Larry Beckers "Sneak Thief", forgive me if Im wrong and is in no way limited only to destinations, they are just the deressing.
Regards Mark Ps Shame on you Maxfor releasing Prism, I have the booklets ...........but congratulations on a best seller ( as if it wouldnt be ! )
