The method seems VERY obvious, will you still buy it with $295?

The method may seem obvious to magicians, but I don't think lay people would think so.

Think of all the puzzles you would have to buy Smile

What is The Puzzle (any references to it would be appreciated)?
There are 10 kinds of people: those who understand binary numbers, and those who don't.

Hi,

there is a problem of ethiks envoved with this product, since it appears to have been stolen from a German Magician Nicolai Friedrich and now it pops up in isreal!???

Since i know Nico i am not one how should juge!
The only thing i can say i have seen him perform it countless times and i also entered some Competitons with it and well he thinks thats where it got stolen! On the other Hand yes the method is not realy obvious at least noch to lay audiences but it was also his idea to use the picture of the Mona Lisa! Hi will explain his exact method as far is i know on the flicken Finger DVD which if everything goes well should come out for FISM!??

Cheers,

Stefan

Does anybody have this effect?
If yes, do the laymen like it?
Is the effect strong for laymen?

Check out Lee Earle's "Puzzling Perception" in his OUT OF SYZYGY E-book. Same effect, probabally same method, and can be put together for about $20.
Yes, the effect is great, but $300 for this irritates me, ESPECIALLY if it is a rip of another effect.

Stefan S. I heard they ended up concluding that they both had came up with it at around the same time. I belive the artical was in Magic or Geneii. So both marketed versions are authourized. Is this correct?
Oh Yea. The amount of puzzels you would buy, 25 and still want more but they were out. Smile

You can read about the "true" story about this effect here.
I don't think 300 dollar is expensive for this big puzzle. If you are going to make itself you are probably to buy props for the same money...

The effect must be very strong for laymens.
Does anyone know how the selection of the puzzle pieace is achieved? Force or a clever gimmick? Does the choise process looks clean?
Im very interested in this effect...

It's also in his book MIND: Mentalism In New Directions, which I believe sells for around $70 but is a complete record of his career.
