I am looking for a black silk that has white cross bones and skull on it (like the pirate flag). Has anyone come across such a silk?
*NOTE: I did find a white silk with a black cross-bones and skull on it... not what I am looking for! Bryan |

Hey Brian:
See if this one will work for you: http://www.silkkingmagic.com/Rice's%20A......Silk.htm Ron |

Ron,
I spotted that one as well... It's not exactly what I am looking for... Thank you though! Still searching, Bryan p.s.- I would also love to find the silk with the "Tide" (laundry detergent)logo on it. (I think Duane Laflin use to have them...) |

I am not sure what you're willing to spend. But you can try contacting Tim Sonefelt of Wonder Imagery. He's a really nice guy and he will send you back a sample image before doing any custom work. He uses a new technology, where silks can be produced from digital artwork! I think his prices are quite reasonable. Here is the website

The one I use is really for a boat and made of nylon. It's about 12" x 18". I think I paid a whole $3 for it at a bait shop.
There is a lot of demand for the Jolly Roger. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Sounds like Bob found a good place for them. I had found a website that has six pages of various Jolly Rogers. However, these are flags and are not made of silk but of "marine quality nylon, with polypropylene webbing with brass spur grommets. Silk screened on both sides." Here is the link"

"Dead Men Tell No Tales" also have many cool pirate flags. They also carry several "banners" which are much thinner than a regular flag. I purchased stuff from this company in putting together my own pirate show. I have the "Triple Threat Banner". It could be cut and hemmed to create individual "silks".
http://www.deadmentellnotales.com/page/DM/CTGY/B1 I'm assuming Tim Sonefelt may be cheaper (per silk) the more silks you buy of one design? Depending on the cost I may be up for one or two of ye ole' jolly bones me self. Bryan let me know if this is true, maybe we can work it out. Aaaaaarg! DeWayne |

Here's another possibility, Brian. The page is in alphabetical order - go down to "Skully Cross Bones." I'm not sure if this company is still in business - it does not look the site has been updated in a few years. However, if the silk is what you want, it's at least worth a phone call.

The boat flags are great ideas... I am wondering if it will work in a crystal silk cylinder (2-silks and a nylon flag?)... I will check the other resources...
You guys are very helpful... Bryan |

Bryan,
The nylon flag with two silks should be no problem in a crystal silk cylinder. You may have to work on the correct folding of the nylon flag to get it to "pop" out open out of the tube. -DeWayne |

DeWayne,
I'd actually be placing the Jolly-Roger in to be vanished between the two and in its place, a different silk... Bryan |

Nope. I'm almost positive the nylon flag will not go there. It may work with one of the banners mentioned above, if they were cut and hemmed.

Do you want it to vanish in the CSC? I am not sure what you need.
I really do not think it would be very hard to paint it. Richard
