I don't think that's a good question to ask.

Ok better question, how can I perform something like this without stooges.
Or do I still believe in miracles

Without stooges? Or do you mean "without the person being levitated being an assistant?"
What's wrong with the latter? You really want to do this... contact Johnny Gaughan, he'll build it for you. Bring money.

He is very good. Japanese of course? Is this Johnny´s creation? Looks a lot like the one performed by Luis de Matos

Very impressive. Too bad we're not seeing more of this on American television, and less of Mr. Blaine. At least this guy appears polite and personable.

The most basic system to create that effect (product name - JUMP) kicks in at around $10,000 + tax.
Somthing a little smoother with long smooth up-down motion (for more of a levitation sequence instead of a suspension via the FLOAT system) comes in aroud $27,000. They're our prices, last time I checked Gaughans were in the same sort of ballpark (though for slightly different spec systems)

Plenty of people have, however since we deal predominantly with European shows & more specifically producers and directors you're not going to find many of them on a magic board in a foreign language on the other side of the world.
If you're interested in purchasing one of our wire systems contact us direct for details etc.

I saw a lot of camera tricks for this century but that is not so bad because is a way to protect the true apparatus.
Anybody with a lot of money could shoot a movie with some young actors on the street from a studio and there you could levitate in any way you want and from time to to time you could perform a close up illusion somewhere on the true street and repeat the trick until will find the best reactions. Sorry for my english. |
