It's a bit pricey for what? A quality piece of equipement. A well designed illusion. Good craftsmanship...............Define pricey for you....not available at Wal-mart??!!!??

I have not personally seen this trick but I know that Doug Malloy delivers thoroughly well thought out quality routines and products. It does seem pricey but I am confident that you'll get what you pay for. Just my two cents worth.

The price is not bad at all. I've heard only great things from performers who have used his products. He builds well, and smart. I would easily recommend anything from Doug.

We bought numerous illusions from Doug over the years and have been completely satisfied with the quality of workmanship and price. Chris is right, he thinks smart. Would definitely recommend any of his in-house products to any performer.
Do not go where the path may lead, but go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

I think Alex is asking who owns the illusion and wants to get some insight from that person before purchase....I hope that clears things up. We all realize where you can get the product but who owns it right now and uses it.

Would like to hear some comments on it also. (Any full size illusion by a name builder under 5 is NOT expensive one)

Can we compare this to "Death Drop " ? I do own Death Drop and love it - although there is really no control once the spikes are dropped - I do have a story of one going right through the assistant arm - not my assistant thank you know who !
I'm just not impressed with the base on the mini - possibly cause I have only seen the pics but with the BA on the lower section and a guy performing it at the scout blue and gold in the middle of the gym, it seems to me to be a bit thick. now in a theater with lighting and such...and I know lighting...we could easily make that base look 2 inches ! 2 cents.
