I heard of a nice stand up routine where you staple a spectators watch in a brown bag, there are also 4 more identical bags. the bags are mixed and you get a sledge hammer and you can guess the rest. anyone know this effect or one sinilar and where to find it.

thanks in advance

THe routine is called 'Time is of the essence' by Joseph Curcillo and you can find it on page 265 (Vol.4,Nr.1 Issue 55)

Nice routine, simple to perform but great impact.

Greetings
Thomas

I was talking to a guy who went to a Tommy Cooper show many years ago in London. Called him up on stage and borrowed his watch. Put it in a bag and smashed it to bits with a large hammer. Poured the fragments back into his hand and said "Thankyouverymuch".

That was it. His watch smashed to bits. No compensation from the theatre or anything...

I guess it was funny (for everyone else) at the time Smile
