An official cricket ball is between 71mm and 73mm in diameter. An official baseball is just barely larger, between 73mm and 75mm. Any cups designed to take a baseball should hold a cricket ball very well. Exactly how well depends on what you mean by "snugerly".
Gary Animal's Babes are supposed to take a baseball, but some people have mentioned they can be almost too tight. They should take a cricket ball perfectly. Gary's large top Animals are 78mm inside, and take a baseball with just a bit of room to spare. They would hold a cricket ball with only 3 or 4 millimeters of space all around. Bill Palmer's Jumbo Cups Page at his online Cups and Balls Museum shows a couple dozen cups styles, all of which he says, "... will take a baseball as a final load and sit flat on the table." Many of these are historical cups and are no longer available, but several of them are. Keep in mind these cups will take at least a baseball, some are much larger. Greg |

Here are some basic diameters in mm for reference:
Squash ball 40 Golf ball 43 Billiard ball 52 Racquetball 57 Tennis ball 65 Cricket ball 72 Baseball 74 My Babes will not take a baseball. Neither would my Cellini cups. I'll bet both would take a Cricket Ball as the baseballs sometimes fit, and sometimes not.

The thing I like about My Gazzo cups, is when you use them with fruit you can pick fruit that just fits. It makes the finale load look bigger and impossible. It is this result I want to have with Cricket balls & Cups.
Mario Kondini It is way to bloody cold. |

Harries Bosco Cups will easily take a cricket ball as I've been using them as final loads in my cups for years

If this set of beat-up old flower pots I bought from Gary Animal are indeed the Harries' Bosco Cups, they will also take a set of old-style Animal cups with baseballs in them as a final load. Not that I use them that way, but the size reference is there.

For the sake of interest Bill mentioned Cellini and Babe cups as a good option as well.
