Something I have wondered since I began lurking here a while back :
Under the cards subpage, there is a permanent thread entitled "read this before posting about double lifts".
Since this page is often frequented by non-practioners and laymen, why doesn't that post use the term "DL", and not "double lift"?
I was always under the impression that is what it should be referred to publicly, so as to not possibly give away one of card magic's better sleights to the public at large....
