It is hard for me to keep quiet any longer. Here is the secret of the Maven book Protocols of the Elders of Magic...
The secret is that if Hermetic Press had told anyone in advance what the book was about, no one would have bought it. |

I think someone would still buy it but I guess some would of because it disappeared with whatever the secret is about.

There are quite a few people who bought, and are quite happy with it. And to top it off, I'd have bought it even if I knew.

While I didn't know the secret before I bought it I did manage to find out what it was about shortly after I ordered it.
I wasn't disappointed in this book in the slightest. It's a marvelous little volume which I prize highly. Granted all those who ordered this thinking it was an effect of some kind no doubt will be dissapointed with its contents. But for those who understand the material contained between the covers of this book the information is invaluable.

Well I guess that I won't be stepping on anyones toes if I come out with an effect that I've been working on for quite a while utilizing "A Thing OF Terrifying Beauty!"....I thought that this wasn't about that? But since no one except the "Brave 500" really know what's in there then no one can complain if I cover the same territory....Right?

No Cloudss, no one is selling it in the book section (as of yet). It's actually someone trying to buy one.
Slim, no fears, this isn't the Gilbreath book. But this one is terrifying and beautiful in it's own sort of way. kadz, I'm not telling. Mark (proud owner of #376)

I just saw 5 copies that's on ebay.
given the hype that was created for it, its no surprise of the high prices it can fetch. Darn! I should have invested in a few to earn some fast bucks!

Maybe that’s one of the big secrets to this Gold Brick. All one thousand copies (woops is that another secret?) are numbered 376! Now do a page force (37) read the first word on line 6 is... (woops maybe another secret?)!!
