Just got an email that this new set is now available from L&l. Did they buy the rights to the set? What's the deal? The price is now $70.00 for the set, not $85.00.

Penguin has the set for $63.95. They offer free shipping and NO BACK ORDERING. I know that strikes fear in the hearts of the internet back order, high postage charge, dealers, but it's true!

No they don't own , I didn't sell it
and the retail price is $70...if you have found its on back order is because the distributor ran out but I didn't...and we shipped them 100's last week, they should have them tomorrow.. koz |

I would really like to know where the best place to buy this dvd set, and how much should it cost. For the past many months we were told to have our dealer go through murphys and the set was 85.00 Now I have an email from L&L saying to buy from them for $70.00. I'm just a bit confused.

Stilson-
Even if you check Murphys website, the MSRP was $70. Dealers would pay less than that when they buy them from Murphys so they can sell them for MSRP and make a profit. The profit is already calculated into the $70 price. I believe hocus-pocus has been selling them for about $65 since they got released. If your dealer was charging you $85, that's a pretty hefty mark-up. |

I would pay $200 if there was a clip of Slydini in the chicken suit!

I received the Slydini DVD's the other day. I literally had to watch them from start to finish. The production quality of the DVD's are second to none. They have to be the best produced DVD's around.
The magic is also very good. You will see Slydini performing various effects followed by performances of Slydini material by his students. The explanations are also very well done. In addition, each of the students is interviewed. It is really interesting to listen to them because it gives you a sense of what Slydini was like. I rate this DVD set 5 out of 5! |
