Thanks Bryan and everyone else! I can't tell you how much I appreciate the continued support, sometimes it is hard to sell what I do and you often find yourself asking how much longer until I'll sell out. But its all in Divine timing and you get the right answer eventually... Tim asked me to keep a blog of my adventures while I'm out there, they'll hopefully be up on his site but they'll also be in the secret diary section of my site as well. I might even film a new teach-a-trick while I'm out there with a few cameo appearances of some of my buddies, but we'll see. I'm out there to work and that comes first. Thanks again!

I just returned from Las Vegas where I had the pleasure of seeing Dan Sperry perform in the World's Greatest Magic Show. This is a great variety magic show and according to cast member Chris Randall "Dan is rocking the crowd every night and he has gone way past our expectations." I've previously seen Dan perform at the Magic Castle and also on the Murray Hatfield Canadian Tour, but he has metamorphosed his bird act and his Vegas performance goes beyond anything I've seen before. Dan is definitely THE New Age dove act working today. To quote from Insidemagic.com: "If you have a chance – even a remote chance – of seeing Mr. Sperry work, do what is necessary to be a witness to a man I am convinced is changing the very concept of Dove Magic. His is not your father’s dove act."

Don't any of you think the greek isle hotel is junky though.

Yes, the Greek Isles Hotel is old and needs refurbishing, but the reason The World’s Greatest Magic Show is playing there is because of the Theater. The show used to play at the Sahara, but the theater there was huge and swallowed the performers and the audience was too distant from the stage. The Theater at the Greek Isles is vintage Vegas, with small capacity (approx. 300+) and intimate seating for the audience close to the stage. The theater setting is vital to the show, which includes much audience participation especially for kids. The World’s Greatest Magic Show has been voted the BEST family entertainment in Las Vegas for the past two years (2004-2005). The variety and quality of the acts together with the intimate theater seating for the audience combine to make this the BEST family magic show in Vegas. Not to mention that kids under 12 get in FREE. So forget about the Greek Isles Hotel, do not stay there, just go to the Theater and see wonderful and magical entertainment.

Dan, it wasn't a question of "if" you were going to make it; it was "when".

Thanks for the posts! Yeah the show was awesome and everyone there was great and I even got to see a few other magic shows while I was in town. If anyone ever gets to Vegas this is one magic show not to miss. I can't say much more than everyone there rawks...cuz like as you know...what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...
