How about this goodie (yell if it's been done - I have tougher!)
You have ten bags of (theoretical) unlimited marbles and a weight/pressure scale. Each bag contains marbles that weigh 1.0 ounce each. However, one of the bags contains only marbles that weigh 1.1 ounces. There is no way to tell the difference other than the scale between the marbles. Your job is to find which bag contains the 1.1 ounce marbles on this highly sensitive scale. You must do it in one measurement. There is a way to do so every time with complete assurance of correct divination in one measurement. No adding marbles slowing etc.... |

Let's add a condition:
The scale's maximum capacity is 46 oz. |

I think you got the idea, but wouldn't it be about 55.? ?

You can still do it even if the scale's max. capacity is 46 oz.

Whoa - hoisting a bag of unlimited marbles onto a scale would hurt.

Weight a minute... (sorry - WAIT a minute)
I may have started with the wrong assumption - is this a balance scale for comparing two weights, or is this a digital scale that tells one how much something weighs? <edit> AH!! Ok, well it HAS to be the latter. And thus I can see why a 46oz limit can work, since you can leave one bag of marbles out of the weighing all together. If the total weight of the other 9 bag's worth doesn't give you your answer, you know the heavier marbles must be the unweighed ones.

Duh! I thought about the 46 ounce thing after I left the computer last night.
