I would like to turn my back on the audience with my hands out. When I turn around, there is a rose in my mouth. I would like to use it as an intro to a segment in my act for rose manipulation.
Any ideas? Any books? Where to look? Derek Merdinyan |

If no one comes up with a solution, you may consider a third hand gimmick while facing the audience.

Bob Little had a great way of turning around an having a cigarette appear in his mouth. It can be applied to a rose.It is in his lecture notes..Cordially,Howard

I wonder if it would be possible to have some thread attached to the rose while it is hidden in my jacket. When I turn around I can grab the loop and pull it into my mouth as I raise my hands over my head. I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes.

Dear Derek,
You might like to buy Kevin James Lecture Video #1. I used an adaptation of a principle of his, for a rose in mouth production. Hope this helps. Raymond Crowe.

Raymond beat me to the punch. I was also going to suggest kevin's James method that he uses and mentions. He does one with a dagger but it can certainly be adapted.
I also know Bob Little as he lives near me. I will see if I have his lecture notes around here somewhere. If I do I can confirm that information for you and be able to help you with obtaining it. Kyle
