When I was in third grade there was a magic show on channel five here in memphis called Magic Land staring Dick Williams. I was able to be on the show and was inspired to become a magician. Recently Dick moved back to memphis and was able to lecture for our local magic club, ring 16. It was an honor for me to be able to introduce him and help assist him with some of his tricks. I finally got to tell him he inspired me when I was young. I'm curious who inspired other magicians here at the Magic Café' to become a magician...

I met Dick in Kansas City where his nephew works as a magician. He was doing a lecture there when I happened to be in town. His book "Lights, Camera, Magic!" is great for anyone thinking of doing magic on TV and has great routenes for every day shows also.

"Lights, Camera, Magic!" is excellent and the lists provided within are worth the pice of this book.
I think he has a couple videos of his show also.

I agree with Dennis on Mr. Williams book. It is a great reference source.
