Hi Guys (and the few girls...)
I'm searching for a builder (rights holder) of a specific illusion that I have seen. A table top, with a box in the end, a girl enters the box in the end of the table and spikes slides into the box, horizontally. The girl is gone and afterwards yet another girl appear from the box. I know that Steinmeyer designed one that look like that, long ago, but it's not it, as the tabletop isn't vertical. Any help much appreciated! Thanks...!:) |

WOW thanks, I saw it at our "friend" the great ripp-off artist in Italy, Dominik Magic, which Tilford is aquainted with... Definitely NOT that one. Wouldn't dare to buy it, of pure quality/stability reasons... Yes Hans Klok did it also, I recall as you wrote it...

Mark slide the box to one side incorporated fire tourches and produced a second girl at the end. If I recall, the plans and rights were being sold by Mark and Alan for $1,500.00.

If you really want a nice prop talk to Bill Smith or Willie Kennedy. They are easily both two of the top builders in the industry. You may also want to get in touch with Illusion Entertainment. They do some absolutely stunning work as well.
It also never hurts to talk to any performers you know who may have worked with spiker illusions and hear the pros and cons of actually working with one. It's a great illusion and if well designed, built, and performed can really pack a punch. The more you know before going into it, the better. Best of luck and happy Holidays! Chris Stolz.
