I have finished building an appearing wand, using regular hardware store materials, I do need to thank Zaubern (Aaron) for his good advise and sharing his past experience with this wand.
Fluorescent cover, (I used a 4ft), regular (cheap) enamel paint and a piece of 1 3/4 plastic pipe, it took me 15 min to prepare everything and then the time for the paint to dry. I tested it 10 times in the last 2 hours and is holding fine. From 5 feet looks nice, close up look shows paints details. I saw a commercial one and that quality is better, however I am the magician of my family, so this is one is good enough and was a nice challenge. Later I will try a broom or something like that ... I am new to the Café, so if this post is incorrect because of the content, please remove it. |
