Naturalness is the thing. What I was told in the beginning was to always have a coin palmed in each hand. It's easy to hide a classic palm if you are holding something else (say a pencil). With practice - that also equals time - you will get comfortable with each and every move/sleight/palm that you need.
You have to give it away to keep it.
