This in itself is not magic, but:
http://www.108dollarstore.com It is an obvious attempt to get a lot of money out of something that does not cost very much at all. I don't know how it works but I stsrted thinking: Would a t-shirt with an annoying message help your magic or no? If yes, what would that message be? I thought about the messages of the t-shirts at the link above and what it would do (or not do) for me if I was wearing it... |

There will be always somebody that is gonna buy it!
Oh yes, they're smart! Actually I wear a shirt that help me a lot with the magic, but isn't an annoying message like these... Paolo Venturini |

If it makes me look like a Hollywood hunk, why not? To be serious, that is a ridiculous price for a shirt like that!

Uh...that's a joke, isn't it? I don't believe they would really try to sell a simple t-shirt for $108.

This may not make sense to some of you but I think these would sell if they said nothing and had the $108 on the TAG only. The approach would appeal to a minor but very real group of psychos.
I think those willing to buy the shirts feel 10 out of 10 people would see it as a novelty shirt purchased for $5.00. |

Wait until you work on a PhD. in marketing and learn about products like vodka, bottled water and automobile batteries. You can find Americans that will believe anything.

Anders, you don't watch much broadcast television, do you? All that is required is bread and circus. The pet rock, beenie babies, are you kidding me, this is exactly the kind of thing that appeals to the masses.

Bob,
I don't trust you as much as Al does. If you can prove to me that those linking rings really are invisible, I'll email you $100 cash. However, I will have to see them before I make the purchase. :) Regan
