I want to perform an effect where I have someone imagine that they are walking through a store and they select an item. I am going to write what I believe they see and later they will name it and it matches.
Saying all that, I want to also describe the other sites, sounds etc that they experience in their mind. Example, I would say, "You seem to be in store with a lot of white walls with a lot of kids voices. Are there some generalities that I could describe for them that almost always would hit the mark (the soom you are walking through seems to be big, as an example)?

Walk with eyes open, and listen as you go, and you can see and hear for yourself what is around you.
Decide what kind of store you would have them walk through, walk there yourself, and then look for someone in the audience who would also walk through that store. Then having experienced it yourself, you will know how to get them to share the experience.

Sorry, I forgot to say that this will be a small setting, not a stage, good idea though.
