Hi all
I'm looking to learn a ring on band effect and I'm wondering which one to get. Either Mendozas or Pinnacle. Has anybody learned these routines? and can anybody recomend any of them? I will be one or the other and I've seen both demos but I'm still not sure which one yet. I'm looking for the most visually amazing if you get my drift. Thanks in advance. Magic Café rules!!!!! |

I have Pinnacle and love it. The routine structure is excellent!

"rhing thing" & "found link" by Vince Mendoza are easily the best two rubber band magic tricks that have ever been invented. "rhing thing" compliments "pinnacle" so well that they were just made to be done together, so the answer to your question is "pinnacle" without "rhing thing" is like peanut butter without jelly. It would be a travisty to do one without the other.

Pinnacle, definitely. Easy to learn, the terrific routine makes sense and flows well, and it's a real fooler.

How many of you pinnacle voters actually do both tricks? Let me make myself clear, to do "pinnacle" without the "rhing thing" finish is like doing half a trick.

I like a couple phases from Pinnacle. And I mix them with Daniel Garcia's routine to make a stunner.

Hey Brian
I'm going to a Daniel Garcia lecture next week. What should I look forward to seeing him do? You are also right about the end of Pinnacle I do either the rhing thing, or the CMH finish that I learned from both Dan Harlan, and Jay Sankey. Al

It is only availible on PDF, and only availible from Vince Mendoza himself at: http://www.flipsideproductions.com/MAGIC/FLRT.htm I think Vince's DVD is ready to be released, maybe Vince will read this post and let us all know what new tricks he has up his sleeve. Vince baby are you listening? Al

Just remember when you first learn the Mendoza move you must practice it as slow as possible for at least a month. Trust me the move is worth the wait, and it is also easy to see where rhing thing perfectly meshes with Pinnacle.
Have fun Al
