At the TAOM convention this year, Bob Sheets performed a string effect where he broke a piece of string into 2 (or 3, I don't remember) pieces. He tied the pieces together, and then lit a candle. He put the knots between the pieces above the flame, and the two pieces burned back together. Anyone know what the trick is called and where you can get it (or learn it).

I am not sure about that one, but Henry Evans has a broken and restored thread trick where he breaks the threads, puts a lighter to the thread and it restores in a flash of fire.

That sounds pretty close, just he used a candle instead of a lighter.

Do you know where you can get this? Is it on a DVD or is it just a trick you buy?
Thanks Michael |

Torn and Restored Flash Thread (from Something More Volume 3 DVD, published by L&L):
A flashy approach to the classic Gypsy Thread. A length of thread, broken into smaller pieces, is instantly restored to its original length in a flash of fire! |
