Hi folks,
I would like to find out is there anybody using Edward Victor False Shuffle in their act?? This can be found in Classic Card Tricks. I am not really sure whether it looks great and convincing or not and I am not really used to the handling. Feedback is much appreciated! Just to clarify-
For those that do not have Classic Card Tricks or seek an alternative description- The Edward Victor false shuffle is similiar to the Erdnase Blind Shuffle to Retain Entire Order- Second Method in Expert at the Card Table. Compare Figure 94 in EATCT to Figure 61 in Classic Card Tricks. I have seen this shuffle performed many times but never in a really deceptive manner. The Shank Shuffle, The Oink Shuffle, and the Zarrow Shuffle are (in my opinion) superior. be well, JW |

To be honest, although I've only seen 2 people perform this, and it didn't look great either time.

That's when you kick the pig and it goes "OINK!". Provides great misdirection for the false shuffle. :0

Sorry folks, I meant Oeink shuffle (pronounced Oink). It's from Gary Plants manuscript on the Zarrow Shuffle. It's similiar to the shank shuffle, but beter covered.
