I was searching around for way to produce SAFE smoke (well the safest possible) and I stumbled upon this site....
http://www.zerotoys.com/newsite/products/miniblaster.htm http://www.zerotoys.com/newsite/airzooka.htm now the miniblaster has strong possibilities of being concealable in a way or another...as for the airzooka it's pretty much difficult to conceal....but I can see great potentials behind it ( ghost stories, seances, hearind a loud bang and someone can actually feel that a ghost punched them....non harmful...) thought I would share this and whoever has an engineering degree (or mind) could actually come up with suggestions to make them even smaller....

I think their wizard stick has been discussed some on the forum...
There are several means to smoke, I use a couple different ones depending on the needds, i.e. how much, where from, etc. k

Hi PKG,
Thanks for the cool links! The smoke blower trick just inspired me to think up a trick which involves a cigar smoking ghost ... As for the airzooka - yeah - that might be a tad hard to conceal - go for a platelifter or bulb effect!!!!.... Oh yeah - Sheherazade by Borodin that I got a month ago has a section devoted to smoke, winds etc.... really cool stuff.... highly recommended by many! All the best, Bruce

Pkg, these are the same things that Jim Pace has been talking about over on the Up in Smoke Forum for many months now ;-)
I've had one, but they're not as easy to mod as I first thought. (Technically, it's water vapor (fog), not smoke, for those who are curious. This is why it's safe.)

Read somewhere that they use some sort of "oil" that is non toxic, and doesn't stain (it just sticks there for a couple of days and vaporizes by itself)
and I am mod"ing" my first HD speakers lol

Not oil so much, it's just water and glycol.
Basically, your typical fog machine fluid. That's what it really is, a minature fog machine !

Mystician, when I saw that you had one I meant to ask if normal fog fluid (which I by the gallon) would work of this was something special. Do you know if the normal stuff would keep this thing happy?

Dave, to be perfectly honest, I don't know.
Zerotoys claims that it uses "special" juice, but then all advertisers make claims of being special somehow or another, so I don't give that much weight. OTOH, it's possible that it requires maybe a different ratio of water to glycol than the average fog machine (for all I know).. I'd hate to damage the thing trying it out, but I might just give it a shot anyway, once I run out of the original juice it came with, because I'm sure I'd save money. Right now though, I have a LOT of the original fog juice left, so that won't be any time really soon. I've seen that a lot of the big time mfg's of fog machines make similar claims regarding their own brand of fog juice, do you know from experience how true they are ? That'd probably be a good guide to judge by..
