I work mainly summer library shows in western Kansas. This year's theme is animals "Paws, claws, scales, and TALES." Any ideas for safari or animal themed magic that is unique and not overdone?

Well If you are into doing things with puppets check out the bird arm illusion. That's a good one and you can start and end the show with it. I would also try anything with doves. Possibly use a dove pan. But definitely check out the bird arm illusion.

Can you give us the ages you will be performing for at the library? The ones we have here have a staggered story time, so that they don't get fidgety with a level of vocabulary etc. that is too high / low.
