I need to know what you folks think? David Powell's is Black and Osterlind's is silver. Do they both use the same method? Which is better? I really want it as a convincer. As in the dice and canister routine in The Art of Mentalism. Please weigh in if you own one or both.

If memory serves me well I believe the Xray Blindfold has a square opening for the nose where as Osterlinds fits very snuggly making it more effective. I may be thinking of the wrong blindfold??
Can you not get a picture? I would reccomend Osterlinds as it does what it says on the tin.. A.R.

I have not seen the Xray Blindfold, but I own The Stainless Steel Blindfold, and use it from time to time with great success.
Now matter at what time and where in the routine, you can ask the spectators to controll if you can see anything at all. - Of course they don't find anything. It certainly does what it says, and some more. Just remember though, that the routining and your pattern is just as important as the device. Richard wrote a wonderful book on it. Sven

Just wanted to say, I also use Richards and I do so regularly and love it. it is very very convincing and have never had anyone suspect it for a second. Reason. Not only is the prop great but the subtleties and ideas Richatrd supplies take it to a new level. on its own its great, with the know how included its amazing!
